Snowborn's Kayta (WS268147032) has been bred to Kaho and a litter is in progress..due date is very early March. She is pointed and has been shown several times. She has also been to multiple training classes and has accomplishments under her belt. She is a true sweetheart and I am quite anxious to welcome these pups into the world.

IAM Kaho's Artic Bronze is the father of this litter (WS06415705). It is his first litter. He is also pointed and CGC. Kaho is a very busy boy- with nursing homes, schools, rally, sledding, conformation and obedience. All genetic clearances have been done.

Here is Kayta at 2 weeks before her due date. Her hunger is increasing by the day and I have started increasing her food. The whelping box is up and I am getting ready for the "K babies". She is quieting down and spending more time in her crate.

She was x-rayed 2/24 to see how many she is expecting. X-ray is not an exact science due to the pups' position in the uterus. The x-ray takes something 3 dimensional and turns it 2 dimensional, so they can be under, beside, above, next to,in front of, etc. It looks like 5 or perhaps 6, time will tell!

Here is Kayta (R) and Suka (Kaho's mom) out on a snowy day just 6 days before the pups arrive. Kayta (as well as Kaho and T'Kaya) had their trip to the vet. opthomologist yesterday. Everyone had clear eyes (no eye problems). This eye exam is just one of several genetic tests given to Siberians in hopes of creating pups that have less of a chance of inheriting genetic disorders.
